The wood spirit is simply beautiful, I think the light hits it perfectly and the texture is simply amazing. The purples for the background are very nice selected, too, I just don't know if I like the green knots too much.

Oooo I like this very much. I love that you repeated the wood texture in the background as well, but with thicker lines and a bit more color. The spirit very much reminds me of the keeper of time in Descendents of Darkness.

I think you did really well achieving the wood texture in the face, and having it blend into the ground. I'm not sure if you intended to have it be right on a tree or not. It has the texture of bark, but still looks like some kind of energy whooshing by... given the title, I think either works. Nice work!
